Development of FQHC-Compliant Policy and Procedure Manuals

Shoreline Health Solutions has experience in developing policy and procedure manuals for a variety of topic areas, including but not limited to human resources, finance/procurement, clinical care (including use of evidence-based guidelines), environment of care, risk management, and quality improvement. Shoreline Health Solutions works with health centers to identify a complete list of needed policies, revise existing policies, draft new policies, and ensure all policies are FQHC-compliant.

Strategic Planning

Strategic planning support includes collection of relevant data, such as data from patient satisfaction surveys, patient focus groups, staff satisfaction surveys/interviews, Board member surveys/interviews, and community needs assessments. Shoreline Health Solutions can assist with planning and preparation for strategic planning activities, facilitating onsite planning sessions and/or retreats, and completing a formal strategic planning report to serve as an organizational road map.

Quality of Improvement Support

Shoreline Health Solutions has extensive experience with developing and implementing quality improvement systems and activities within the health center setting. This includes development of quality improvement processes, such as incident management, sentinel event response, emergency planning/mitigation, patient complaint/grievance management, clinical peer review systems, and chart completeness audits. Shoreline Health Solutions will develop required QI policies and procedures, support systems implementation, assist staff with implementation of quality improvement cycles, and conduct onsite staff training.
